Click the "Sponsor Korean Children" button to apply or call to apply for sponsorship, and the donor and child will be matched through the matching.

After applying for sponsorship, we will send you a child card with the child's photo and introduction, and a donor guide within 3-4 weeks.

We will send you a child growth and development report with the child's photo and introduction, and a donor guide within 3-4 weeks.

Through gift sponsorship to the account, you can give your child a special day with a gift.

You can receive the newsletter by mail quarterly (twice a year), and you can receive the donation receipt from the Tax Office Simplified Service for Annual Tax Settlement.

How do we select children?

A

We receive recommendations for children in need from schools, neighborhood centers, and neighbors. A social worker visits the child's home to conduct a consultation to assess the family situation. After the consultation, a case determination meeting is held to select the child most in need. The family, child, and donor agreement is written, and services needed for the family and child are provided.

How long do we need to sponsor?

A

The sponsorship of domestic children continues until the child graduates from high school (19 years old). If the child moves or the family becomes independent, the sponsorship will be discontinued. In this case, we will inform you of the reason and request your understanding, and connect you to another child in need.

I want to visit the sponsored child, is it possible?

A

The meeting with the child is determined after consultation with the institution, and the institution's representative must accompany it. Additionally, there may be cases where it is difficult to visit the child, so please contact the long-term sponsor in advance. Please contact the general office (1522-3959) and the long-term sponsor (070-7722-7203).

Can I select/change the sponsored child?

A

We match children in need in Korea in order, regardless of gender, age, environment. Additionally, a child change due to the end of sponsorship is possible, but a change due to the donor's change of mind is difficult. If you need a specific long-term sponsorship matching request, please contact the long-term sponsor in advance.

How do I get child information?

A

Through the website, a long-term sponsorship application, a long-term child kit (child photo, basic information) will be sent within 3 weeks. You can receive it by mail or e-mail.
